Growth Marketing Manager
4 days per week in London
We are seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join a founder-led, consumer-focused business at an important stage of its development. This role sits at the intersection of paid media, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and growth experimentation. You will build and operate a modern paid and conversion engine that drives efficient customer acquisition, increases on-site conversion and scales sustainable lifetime value.
About the role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will own paid acquisition channels and CRO strategy across the customer journey. You will design, execute and scale paid media programmes while running systematic experimentation to improve funnel performance and reduce customer acquisition costs. This is a hands-on, strategic position where data-driven optimisation and pragmatic delivery are equally valued.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Develop and execute paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, programmatic, CTV and emerging channels to hit CAC and growth targets.
Lead conversion rate optimisation: define hypotheses, run A/B and multivariate tests, and iterate on creative, on-site UX and checkout flows to improve conversion and AOV.
Own experimentation roadmap and growth tests across acquisition, onboarding and retention; measure incrementality and learnings to scale winners.
Manage agency and platform relationships, while building internal capability for media buying, creative testing and optimisation.
Implement measurable reporting and dashboards: CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion metrics, funnel drop-off and test results to provide clear commercial insight.
Optimise media spend and bidding strategies to maximise contribution margin and maintain disciplined unit economics.
Work closely with product, engineering and design to prioritise experiments that remove friction and increase purchase frequency.
Build repeatable processes for creative development, trafficking, tagging and attribution to improve speed-to-insight.
About you
This role suits a pragmatic operator who has delivered measurable growth in a DTC, e-commerce or performance-led business. You are comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution and can influence senior stakeholders with commercial literacy and clear evidence.
You will be:
Experienced in planning and running paid media at scale (Meta, Google and alternative networks), with demonstrable impact on CAC, ROAS and contribution margins.
Skilled in CRO and experimentation methodology: able to design valid tests, interpret results and translate outcomes into product or creative changes.
Analytically fluent with SQL or analytics tools (e.g., GA4, BigQuery, Looker/Looker Studio) and able to construct actionable dashboards.
Commercially minded: comfortable discussing LTV, cohort analysis, unit economics and how media decisions affect profitability.
A strong cross-functional collaborator who can align product, design and operations around growth experiments and optimisation priorities.
Experienced in managing external partners and agencies while building internal capability and clear operating rhythms.
Committed to inclusive hiring and able to communicate clearly, respectfully and persuasively across the organisation.
Experience in consumer, wellness, lifestyle or other founder-led DTC businesses is advantageous but not essential. The role will suit someone who enjoys both building systems and getting into the detail of campaign execution and testing.
