Content Creator
About the role
We are recruiting a for a DTC wellness brand. They are looking for a Content Creator to join the social team, reporting to the Social Media Manager. This role will own the development of trend-led and initiative-driven content for TikTok and Instagram, supporting larger campaigns and events while helping to establish a consistent short-form video cadence that drives reach, community and commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Develop and produce platform-native short-form content for TikTok and Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories) that is rooted in trends, creative hooks and audience insight.
Own idea generation and scripting for trend-led concepts and initiative-driven series, turning high-level briefs into clear, repeatable concepts.
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and wider marketing team to align content with launches, seasonal priorities and campaign briefs.
Support larger campaigns and events by creating content assets, live coverage and follow-up edit packages that amplify reach and product conversion.
Shoot and edit vertical video using phones and light kit; deliver polished edits under tight deadlines while maintaining platform best practice.
Iterate quickly based on performance data and qualitative community feedback to refine formats, hooks and posting cadence.
Maintain an organised content library and production trackers to ensure efficient reuse, rights management and cross-platform activation.
Work with creators and influencers as required to brief, support and amplify creator-led content.
Use simple creative tests and learnings to inform creative guidance and scale high-performing content systems.
About you
You are a proactive creator with a demonstrable track record of producing engaging short-form social content. You combine strong creative instincts with the discipline to turn trends into repeatable formats that support business goals.
You will be:
Experienced in creating content for TikTok and Instagram (1–3 years minimum experience preferred).
Confident shooting and editing short-form video on mobile and basic editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot or Adobe Premiere Pro).
Trend literate: able to surface and adapt platform trends quickly while preserving brand tone and commercial alignment.
Organised and deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple briefs and event priorities without sacrificing quality.
Collaborative: comfortable working with a manager, cross-functional partners and external creators.
Data-aware: able to read basic social metrics and use them to inform creative decisions (reach, view-through, CTR, saves).
Committed to inclusive, accessible creative — able to produce captioned, clearly-framed content that works for diverse audiences.
Desirable
Experience working in lifestyle, wellness or mission-led consumer brands.
Familiarity with creator management and briefing at scale.
Basic motion graphics skills (animated text, simple transitions) to elevate content quality.
Understanding of how organic social supports commercial KPIs and campaign contribution.
