Partnerships Manager
We’re partnering with an consumer led healthcare organisation that is expanding its commercial partnerships capability. They are looking for a Partnerships Manager to identify, source and develop new strategic collaborations. This is a commercially focused, hands-on role with responsibility for generating pipeline, leading negotiations and managing contracts to deliver measurable business outcomes.
About the role
The Partnerships Manager will take ownership of partnership development end-to-end: market mapping and target identification, outreach and relationship building, commercial negotiation, contracting and ongoing partner management. You’ll work closely with internal teams to structure partnerships that are compliant, commercially robust and aligned to organisational strategy. This role requires strong commercial judgement, experience in B2B partnerships in healthcare or DTC consumer partnerships and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
Identify and prioritise high-potential partnership opportunities through market analysis, network outreach and stakeholder engagement
Source and engage prospective partners, build relationships with senior contacts and represent the organisation in meetings, workshops and industry events
Develop compelling commercial propositions and partnership models (e.g., licensing, co-development, distribution, sponsored research, data collaborations) tailored to partner needs and internal objectives
Lead commercial negotiation and contracting: draft and negotiate commercial terms, manage risk allocation, liaise with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant agreements and governables structures
Own end-to-end deal management including pipeline tracking, commercial modelling, financial due diligence and internal approvals to drive timely closure
Manage partner onboarding and ongoing relationships post-signature, including governance, performance reviews, KPI tracking and issue resolution to maximise value delivery
Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Commercial and Product teams to shape partnership scope, ensure compliance and align commercial objectives
Prepare business cases, commercial termsheets and executive briefings; present recommendations and progress updates to senior stakeholders and leadership
Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting dashboards to monitor pipeline, forecast revenue impact and track partnership performance
Represent the organisation’s values and ensure all partnership activity adheres to industry codes of practice, data protection regulations and internal governance standards
About You
You are a commercially minded partnerships professional with experience in healthcare commercial roles. You combine strong negotiation skills with an ability to navigate complex regulatory and clinical environments. You are proactive, organised and adept at building senior relationships that turn into strategic, high-value collaborations.
Essential experience and skills:
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in partnerships, business development or commercial roles within B2B or DTC.
Track record of sourcing and closing commercial partnerships or collaborations, including leading negotiations and contracting
Strong commercial acumen with experience building financial models, commercial proposals and business cases
Familiarity with common partnership structures in pharma/healthcare (licensing, distribution, co-development, sponsored research, data sharing) and related regulatory considerations
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior external and internal stakeholders
Experience working with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant contracting and appropriate governance
Proficient with CRM systems, pipeline management and reporting tools to track opportunities and performance
