About the role
Our client is a fast-growing consumer brand looking for a commercially driven Senior Ecommerce Manager to take full ownership of online performance across DTC, B2B and marketplaces.
This is the person who lives and breathes trading. You will own the numbers, set the trading calendar, run the testing strategy and make the daily calls that move revenue. If you get a kick out of spotting an opportunity in the data on a Monday morning and acting on it before lunch, you will feel at home here.
It is a hands-on leadership role. You will shape strategy and roadmap, but you will also be close to the detail, optimising the customer journey and squeezing more from every visit to site.

The ecommerce trading calendar, lining up promotions, launches and peak periods
Daily performance, reacting quickly across pricing, merchandising and marketing
Growth in conversion rate, average order value and customer lifetime value
CRO, UX and customer experience
The onsite experience, hunting down friction and improving how the site looks and works
A continuous CRO programme built on data, testing and real customer insight
The full customer journey, from first click through to repeat purchase
Platform and roadmap
The Shopify roadmap, prioritising the improvements that actually move revenue
The ecommerce tech stack, integrations and platform partners
Site improvements, launches and new features delivered on time
Data and performance
Reporting across revenue, CVR, AOV, ROAS, CPA, CAC and LTV
GA4 and platform analytics, turning numbers into decisions on trading, marketing and UX
Clear, useful reporting that gives the leadership team something to act on
Agencies, partners and team
Relationships with digital agencies and tech partners, with real accountability for delivery
Leadership and support for the Senior Ecommerce Executive, Senior Marketing Executive and Social Media Assistant
Cross-functional work with marketing, operations, product and creative to keep campaigns and customer journeys joined up
What you will bring
Essential
Experience in ecommerce and digital marketing, ideally within retail or DTC brands
Strong Shopify experience
A track record of delivering online revenue growth
Working knowledge across paid media, CRM and SEO
A solid grasp of ecommerce trading and merchandising
Experience leading CRO and A/B testing programmes
Strong analytical skills across GA4, Shopify and digital marketing platforms
Experience managing agencies and external partners

Klaviyo or a similar CRM platform
What success looks like
Twelve months in, you will have hit your ecommerce and marketplace revenue targets, lifted conversion, AOV and basket size, and kept marketing working efficiently with strong ROAS. The site will be in noticeably better shape thanks to your CRO work, and the trading and marketing calendars will be running like clockwork.
