About the Role
As a Wholesale Associate, you’ll be an essential part of our wholesale operations by onboarding new retail partners, managing existing accounts, ensuring compliance, and proactively identifying and reaching out to potential new retail partners. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to foster relationships will drive operational success and help expand our growing retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Retailer Onboarding & Account Management
- Assist in the end-to-end onboarding process for new retail partners, ensuring all paperwork, agreements, and necessary documentation are accurately completed.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to set up and test retailer accounts, including SKU creation, pricing confirmation, and data integration.
- Provide new retailers with product details, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements to ensure smooth initial setup.
- Serve as a key point of contact for retail partners, addressing order issues, product availability concerns, and account-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the logistics team in tracking order fulfilment, managing reorders, and updating CRM account information.
- Prepare and analyse sales reports to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Maintain close communication with retail partners to ensure satisfaction and collect feedback on products and services.
New Business Development & Outreach
- Proactively identify and research potential retail partners to expand Wonderskin’s wholesale distribution.
- Conduct outreach efforts to introduce Wonderskin’s brand, products, and partnership opportunities to potential new retailers.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding the wholesale network.
- Assist in pitching products to potential retailers, providing compelling insights into market trends and customer demand.
Compliance & Documentation
- Monitor and ensure compliance with retailer and industry standards, including packaging, labelling, and product safety regulations.
- Maintain and update product documentation, including specifications, certifications, and compliance materials.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve compliance-related issues and ensure all products meet retailer-specific requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless order processing and fulfilment.
- Assist in preparing product and account updates for internal reviews and strategy meetings.
About You
- 1-2 years of experience in a wholesale, retail, or account management role, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with retail partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM and EDI systems.
- Understanding of wholesale compliance requirements and retailer onboarding processes is a plus.
- A self-starter with a passion for business development, outreach, and expanding retail partnerships.
